I'm admittedly somewhat socially inept due to a mixture of childhood trauma and being a bit sheltered so there will be times I might miss social cues and such. This also means there will probably be times I might come across as insensitive and such. Try to keep that in mind okay?I am rather desensitized to quite a lot of stuff in general as well. By this, I mean that certain content, especially some darker ones, will generally not get much of a reaction from me at times. That doesn't necessarily mean that I am unbothered however. So do keep that in mind.Oh and since I've been seeing quite a bit of bullshit lately over freaking labels of all things, I feel like I should make this absolutely clear.I DON'T GIVE A FUCK OVER THIS STUPID "PRO VS ANTI" CRAP AT ALL.As someone who was taught by family to never harass others over their interests in fiction and fandom, seeing people, even friends who I thought would have decency and sense to know better, constantly making presumptions over others due to them considering themselves as "pro" or "anti" is, quite frankly, rather exasperating to me. But what makes it even more appalling is some folks would actually assume others are such over things like their interests, their fandom, or even over something as small as "them giving off a certain vibe"!I DO NOT care about all of that crap. All that matters to me is the kind of person you are. I do not, and will not, solely judge other people over things like whatever they refer to themselves, their interests, the fandoms they're in, and etc.Before some idiot out there tries to get on my case and act like they have the higher ground, what I'm doing is called treating others with basic human dignity and respect.Unlike some people who these days seemed to be so fixated on labels and stuff people are interested in to the point that they will actually solely judge them at face value for it, I actually bother to give folks a chance. Y'know how some people try to, y'know, learn more about someone before making judgments like any decent person would do? Yeah, that's what I'm basically doing here.TLDR: Don't immediately assume others are such and such over things like labels or odd interests. Especially the former which most of y'all seem to act as if it's the ultimate tell to whether someone is "bad" or "good". Actually bother to look into someone properly before making any judgments on them.I will add more onto this whenever I feel it to be necessary but for now I think that's good.
